Bi-annual NHS Commissioning Population Statistics 1 October 2018

Abstract: This bi-annual Official Statistic provides summary statistics on the number of serving UK Armed Forces personnel and entitled civilian personnel with a Defence Medical Services (DMS) registration. Personnel with a DMS registration have their primary care (GP services) provided by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) rather than the NHS. This report uses a snapshot of data as at 1 October 2018. Reports are released eight weeks after the reporting point. Reports are released biannually. The next report will be published on 23 May 2019.
