Deaths in the UK regular armed forces: Annual summary and trends over time 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2019
Summary: This annual National Statistical Notice provides information on the major categories of cause of death in the UK regular armed forces for the ten-year period 2010-2019. This Notice also presents information on comparisons to the UK general population. Data is presented for the Naval Service (Royal Navy and Royal Marines), the Army (including Gurkhas), the Royal Air Force, and for the armed forces as a whole (Tri-Service). UK armed forces reservists who died whilst deployed on operations are included in the data presented since they are classed as ‘regulars’ whilst on deployment.
