Evidence Brief: Detection and Treatment of Dental Problems on Chronic Disease Outcomes

Abstract: The ESP Coordinating Center (ESP CC) is responding to a request from the Partnered Evidence-Based Policy Resource Center (PEPReC) for an evidence brief on the relation between receipt of preventive dental care and chronic disease-related benefits, harms, and costs. Findings from this evidence brief will be used to inform implementation and evaluation of the Veterans Innovation Center (VIC) Care Coordination for Dental Benefits demonstration program.
