Abstract:This programme evaluation report examines the reach and impact of the Armed Forces Covenant: Local Grants Programme, a five-year initiative (2015–2020) that awarded 712 small grants (total value £11.5 million) across the UK. Through quantitative analysis of all awarded grants and a sample of 144 completed projects, combined with 12 qualitative case studies, the evaluation identifies successful delivery across the programme’s two objectives—community integration and local service provision—and highlights key themes of collaboration, community engagement, mental health support, and effective referrals/signposting in practice.
