Interventions to mitigate suicide risk among veterans and military personnel: A rapid review of the latest evidence

Abstract: The aim of this report is to examine the latest evidence on effective interventions that could help to
mitigate suicide risk among veterans in Scotland and in the rest of the United Kingdom. We conducted a rapid review of reviews published in the past decade (2010-2021) on preventative interventions designed to prevent suicide among veterans and military personnel. Four relevant reviews were identified2–5 and their findings are presented and discussed.
