Abstract:This report outlines how the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust rapidly adapted its grant-making in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, balancing continued support for existing projects with the creation of targeted emergency programmes. Through initiatives such as Veterans Should Not Be Forgotten, Forces Communities Together, and the COVID Impact Programme, the Trust channelled resources to address social isolation, support mental health, and strengthen community resilience across the Armed Forces community. The evaluation highlights the speed and flexibility of delivery, the breadth of beneficiaries reached, and the sector-wide collaboration enabled by emergency funding.
