Veterans Aware Manifesto: Acute & Community Trusts

Abstract: This document is aimed at healthcare providers and sets out the objectives of the Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance (VCHA), the standards expected from ‘Veteran Aware’ health and care providers / commissioners and support that can be provided to them. The aim of Veterans Aware is to identify and showcase the best standards of care for UK Armed Forces veterans and their families and to drive implementation of proven practice in the treatment and care of veterans and their families across the UK.
