Abstract: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder can be a debilitating comorbidity for a patient on end-of-life care. Combat veterans make up a vast majority of patients diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and are therefore a vulnerable group requiring a comprehensive approach to their health care management. This paper addresses certain challenges the hospice and palliative care providers may encounter and offers solutions to ensure the patients maintain a high quality of life.
