Summary: This report presents findings from a rapid evidence assessment (REA) of the current evidence base on the needs of ex-service personnel in the criminal justice system (CJS), the provisions that are available to them, and evidence on what works in rehabilitating this group of offenders. This report is expected to be useful for Community Rehabilitation Companies, the National Probation Service, Prisons, third sector organisations and others working with offenders in addressing the needs and promoting desistance in this group.
