Abstract: The Life After Service Studies (LASS) program of research helps to further the understanding of the transition from military to civilian life, and ultimately improve the health of Veterans. LASS partners are Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), the Department of National Defence (DND), and Statistics Canada. LASS 2013 incorporated a health survey,1 and an income linkage study.2 Veterans included those released from the Regular Force from 1998 to 2012, and those released from the Primary Reserve from 2003 to 2012.3 Our synthesis of these studies summarized the following key findings.
