Abstract: This report focuses on a specific aspect of the Life After Service Studies survey. In general, persons who are neither employed or unemployed are considered “not in the labour force.” This group is not working and currently not looking for work as opposed to the “unemployed” group (which is considered part of the labour force) who are also not working but are actively looking for work. Those not in the labour force are not looking to work for various personal or health reasons.
