How to capitalise on military talent: employers' toolkit
Abstract: With around 385,0001 members of the Armed Forces community living in Wales we know the value of their contribution to the Welsh way of life. We know the majority of Service leavers settle back into civilian life effectively, using the wide variety of skills developed during their time in the Armed Forces to gain meaningful employment and contribute to their communities. However, there are those that will need extra support. I recently launched the Welsh Government’s Employment Pathway, which sets out the suite of support available in Wales. The Welsh Government wants to ensure Service leavers and veterans are supported into work and given the information relevant to their needs.
